Ingredients:
4 ripe tomatoes
1 bunch of fresh basil leaves
1 mozzarella cheese ball
Extra virgin olive oil
Balsamic vinegar (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese into ¼-inch thick rounds.
- Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a platter, alternating them.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and cheese slices.
- Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the salad.
